My review stays at five stars after my first cook with this new smoker!
I added the gasket around the doors. I sealed the other gaps with the black RTV silicone, (it looks much better than the red). Seasoning the smoker was a breeze. I smoked a few racks of ribs and a Boston butt this past weekend. There is plenty of room to do a Boston Butt and 2-3 racks of ribs. Turned out the best barbecue and ribs ever! Weather was great with temps from 65-75. I did not have a problem keeping to keep the temperature where I needed it. I had to put wood and a few pieces of lump charcoal on about every 45 minutes. The wood is great for the smoke and lump charcoal helps the most in keeping the temperature where I need it.
The fire box is holding up well. There is discoloration on the bottom and in the back working it's way to the top but that's to be expected. I plan to season the outside of the firebox with vegetable oil next time I cook.
The baffles work excellent! They make for very even heat across the cooking surface. The heat runs along under the baffles and up the left side so I kept food from over the opening on the left and still had plenty of room.
I tried the fire box as a grill last night for some sausages and it worked great also.
I guess I'm just being picky but, I will add a smoker toggle latch to either side of the main door.
I do have a couple of small leaks around the main door but it did not affect my first cook. I am very pleased and cannot wait to cook again!
Initial Review: So far I'm giving this five stars because I received it a day early and the box was in perfect condition. The assembly was a breeze and it looks great. Also, the baffles are thicker than I expected. They are thick coated metal similar to an oven broiler. I'll adjust the review later depending on how well the smoker performs. I've had a char griller grill for years that I love for grilling but it doesn't cut it for really smoking barbecue. This is my first venture into a real smoker and I wasn't ready to spend $1000 for a higher end smoker....yet. I did a lot of research on smokers and expect to do some modifications because it is a lower end smoker. Half the fun is getting to modify something and make it your own. So far I've spent $30 to get the high temperature caulking and the lava gasket to go around the doors. I expect the paint to burn off the fire box so I bought some high temperature spray paint for grills or I will season the outside of the box.

I was able to build it myself but it would have been easier with two people. The where no holes at the bottom of the smoker where the legs but there where holes on the legs so the screws will stick out a bit after you install them. After looking at pictures that is how it is made to be, same with the smoke stack.
Update 12/30/17: I've had it for a year now. The firebox lost tons of paint and started to rust but from what I've read, even the $1,500 offset smokers will peel unless the firebox is insulated. I think good maintenance requires you to wire brush down the rust and repaint with Rustoleom every season. I also noticed that food closest to the firebox still manages to get cooked faster due to radient heat; the heat plates are too thin to completely prevent it. I learned how to cook cleaner smoke with wood splits by controlling the fuel (wood) instead of the oxygen. My BBQ keeps getting better and better. I still like it, even with its downsides. I own or have owned a Kettle, WSM, Akorn, and offset. The offset smoker is still my favorite way to smoke BBQ. Maybe someday I'll get a $1,500 offset to replace it but I have no desire right now.
The firebox is so thin that on the break in the paint started bubbling and I only had one log in there at 300 now I have done two smokes on it and every time I am cooking the paint starts smoking and you can smell it now I’m wondering if the fumes Are getting in my food I wish I could return this price if junk
